Journey from Lent to Pentecost: Transforming our desert experiences into new life
DATE AND TIME
Sat, March 14, 2026
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
LOCATION
Church of Incarnation: Short Hall
636 Cherry St
Santa Rosa, CA 95404
DETAILS
Drawing on biblical stories, St. Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures, and a dramatic reading of a short narrative essay, attendees explore how times of struggle or suffering can be the compost for new growth. The retreat includes simple body-based practices, journaling, guided meditation, and small and large group discussions. Through storytelling and reflection, we'll help one another experience a shift—from feeling stuck or wounded to sensing possibility and God's presence even in difficult seasons. Our hope is that participants leave feeling less alone, carrying both renewed inspiration and practical tools to navigate life's challenges with more ease and openness. A portion of all proceeds goes to support The Journey Center programming & events.
